Just 3 weeks ago Manchester, England’s, Michael Bisping lost the UFC Middelweight title and has his 5 fight win streak ended when he was choked unconscious by Gegorges St. Pierre. Bisping 38, takes this fight on very short notice after Gastelum’s original opponent, Anderson Silva was pulled from the card for a potential USADA violation. In the last two years Gastelum has defeated vets Johnny Hendricks (UD) & Tim Kennedy, while also having a win over Vitor Belfort overturned, and is now looking to rebound from being submitted in July by Chris Weidman.
