LFA Announces Trio of January Events

After celebrating the holidays and taking a deep breath, LFA will kick off what is expected to be a very busy 2018, with 3 consecutive events to close out the month of January, LFA 30, LFA 31, & LFA 32.

LFA 30, January 12th, at the OC Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, California, with a Welterweight contest between “Curtious” Curtis Millender (13-3) facing Nick “the Phoenix” Barnes (12-2). Millender is on a 5 fight win streak, last fight at LFA 24, knocking out Matthew Fincu with a monstrous head kick. After almost a yeat away from action Barnes returned to the octagon taking a split decision from Chad Curry at LFA 20.

LFA 31 January 19th, at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, with Bobby “The Wolfman” Moffett (10-2) & Thanh Le (7-1) in the main event, battling for the LFA Interim Featherweight title. Moffett has won 6 of 7 including consecutive decision victories TJ Brown & Nate Jennerman. Le lost his pro debut and has since ran off 7 straight wins, all finishes, 6 knock outs, and 6 fights ended in the first round.

LFA 32 January 26th, at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana, has two championship contests. The main event will be Brendan “All In’ Allen (8-2) against Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez (5-0) for the vacant LFA Middleweight title. Allen is coming off a LFA 18, 2nd round, submission of Chris Harris. Hernandez makes his LFA debut, with all his win by finish including 4 submissions. In the co-main event Ryan “Superman” Spann (12-6) faces Alex “Spartan” Nicholson (10-4) for the vacant LFA Light Heavyweight title. Spann has won 3 in a row submitting LaMarcus Tucker & knocking out Myron Dennis. Since a 4 fight stint in the UFC, Nicholson has won 3 straight knocking out Demoreo Dennis, Chris Barnett, & Daniel Madrid.
