Saucedo Meets Martinez at Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV

The co-main event for Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV has been announced and will see Roy “Hot Sauce” Saucedo squaring off with “The Vanilla Gorilla” Jess Martinez.

Saucedo 31, (2-0) fights out of Force of One Martial Arts in Clovis. For Saucedo this will be his first time dropping to Featherweight. A father of 5, “Hot Sauce” is coming off a unanimous decision win, in the main event of Jackson’s MMA Series XXIII, over Martinez’s teammate Ernesto Salvidrez. Saucedo is rough an rugged. A game competitor with tons of heart and a killer spinning backfist.

Martinez 24, (2-0) from Santa Fe, trains at a host of gyms including Superior Fitness. Just three week ago, Martinez successfully competed in a no-gi grappling match at Fight to Win pro 56 in Los Angeles. Back in July “The Vanilla Gorilla” scored his 2nd pro win, showing off his division III wrestling skills, taking a unanimous decision over fellow former KOTC amateur title holder Esias Gordo.

Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV is scheduled for February 24th at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, headlined by Abel Cullum vs Nick “St. Nick” Gonzalez.

Main Event 135: Abel Cullum vs. Nick Gonzalez
145: Roy Saucedo vs. Jess Martinez
