The Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, hosted UFC 218, headlined by a rematch for the UFC Featherweight championship, Max “Blessed” Holloway makes his first defense against the man he dethroned Jose Aldo.

Aldo takes this fight on a 3 weeks notice, after Frankie Edgar withdrew due to injury. Holloway won his 11th straight at UFC 212, back in June, when he stopped Aldo by strikes to become the 3rd ever UFC Featherweight champion and the 2nd Hawaiian to hold UFC gold. Jose Aldo is a fromer WEC & 2-time UFC Featherweight champion, who won 18 straight from 2006-2014.
