Gastelum to Meet Jacare in Brazil
The UFC has added a 3rd Middleweight bout to UFC 224, this one a meeting between top 5 ranked contenders.
Coming off a knock out of former Champion Michael Bisping, number 5 ranked contender, Kelvin Gastelum (14-3) is set to tangle with former Strikeforce Champion, number 2 ranked contender Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (25-5), who’s coming off a knock out of Derek Brunson.
Souza 38, is high level BJJ black belt, with 21 finishes 14 by submission. Gastelum 26, was the TUF 17 season winner and trains at Kings MMA. Gastelum has 10 finishes on his record and like Souza, but in a few amount of wins, has 7 knock outs.
UFC 224 is set for May 12th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
