Lightweight Title Bout Tops LFA 34 Fight Announcements

Legacy Fighting Alliance Lightweight champion Robert Watley will look to make his 2nd successful defense of the title at LFA 34, when he’s challenged by Brandon Jenkins.

Watley (9-1) is a 28 year old native of Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Currently riding a 9 fight win streak, Watley is 2-0 in LFA, winning the Lightweight title by decision over Thiago Moises and defending it with a TKO of Daryl Wilson.

Jenkins (11-5) hails from Savage, Minnesota, and online I found he has 2 nicknames “Twitch” & “The Human Highlight Reel”. Jenkins has 10 finishes 7 knock outs, has won 4 of 5 , coming off a LFA 29 decision win over Carl Wittstock.

The co-main event is also in the Lightweight division pitting Trey Ogden (9-2), who has 7 wins by submission, against Travis “Care Free” Perzynski (22-9), who’s on a 3 fight win streak, since returing from a over 3 year hiatus from MMA.

LFA 34 is March 2nd, at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

The rest of the main card will consist of at Featherweight winner of 6 out of 7, Jordan “Native Psycho” Griffin faces Midwest submission artist Darrick Minner. Also at 145 lbs Wisconsin’s “Nasty” Nate Jennerman tangles with Iowa’s John “Bogus” DeVall. Inanother contest set for 155 lbs. St. Cloud Minnesota’s Booy Lee squares off with Wisconsin’s Nick Ammerman. Kicking off the main card will be Wisconsin’s undefeated Tim Hiley taking on Iowa’s Willie “Rozay” Whitehead.
