Style Bender gets Quick Turnaround
Less than two weeks ago Israel “The Style Bender” Adesanya (12-0) made a great first impression on the UFC audience dismantling Rob Wilkinson at UFC 221. The Nigerian fighter will get right back in the octagon at UFC on Fox 29, against Italy’s Marvin “The Italian Dream” Vettori (12-3-1).
Adesanya 28 years ole, had 70 professional kickboxing bouts before transitioning to MMA. In 12 MMA contests “The Style Bender” has won all of them by knock out and half have ended before the start of round 2. Vettori at UFC 219 fought Omari Akhmedov to a majority draw. The 24 year old, trains at King MMA and has 10 finishes, 8 submissions, 7 chokes.
UFC on Fox 29 takes place April 14th, at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
