Heavyweight Title Bout Headlines LFA 38

LFA will be back in Minnesota for LFA 38, with Jeff Hughes making his first defense of the LFA Heavyweight title.

Challenging Jeff “Lights Out” Hughes (8-1) for the LFA strap will be Maurice “The Pirate” Greene (5-1). Hughes won his 2nd straight at LFA 26, dethroning Richard Odoms by unanimous decision. Hughes has 4 finishes 3 by knock out. Greene has won 4 straight all finishes, 3 by submission, all chokes. We’ve seen Greene twice on AXS TV knocking out Zach Thumb at Legacy FC 60 and submitting Jermaine McDermott at LFA 19.

The co-main event will be in the Middleweight division as Bevon Lewis (4-0) squares off with Colin “Young Huck” Huckbody (3-1). Lewis defeated Sonny Yohn by unanimous decision at LFA 10 & is coming off a 2nd round knock out of Elias Urbina, from Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8. Huckbody has seen all four of his professional fights ending win or loss by 1st round submission. Huckbody is coming off February submission of Ryot Waller.

LFA 38 is scheduled for April 27 at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota, main car can be seen of AXS TV.
