The Build Up
Torres (16-6-2) a protege of legendary New Mexico Champion, Johnny Tapia, who has a 50% knock out rate and scored his 8th knockout victory last April at Expo Explosion, topping John David Charles. Rodriguez (7-10-1) comes in off a knock out of Zachary Wohlman. Rodriguez doesn’t have the greatest record but the record of the opponents he defeated are a combined 32-4-2 when he fought them.
In the co-main event undefeated Jason Sanchez (11-0) of Sanchez-Brother Boxing faces Auga Prieta Sonora, Mexico’s Herman Meraz (58-46-2). Sanchez has 6 wins by knock out coming off a unanimous decision win over Stephon McIntyre, from Battle for the Brave. Meraz is a grizzled vet that has seen it all.
In a feature Aaron “Angel Baby” Perez , makes his highly anticipated pro debut against Levi “Lookout” Lucero who has 7 professional MMA fight under his belt. Ronnie “The Mongoose” Baca (2-0-1) looks to remain undefeated against pro debut-er Alexis Saucedo of Warrior’s Boxing. Rescheduled from Expo Expolsion Perez Boxing’s Cristian Castillo (1-0) faces Texan Timothy Ruiz (1-0) . Kick the night off is Jose Prado (8-2) from School of Hard Knocks in Hoobs, NM, clashes with 2017 caged minds award winner Gene “The Kid” Perez(2-11) of Perez Fighting Systems.
