Featherweight Title Unification Tops LFA 40 Card
Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas, May 25th, with LFA 40 the Featherweight title will be unified when Kevin “The Angel of Death” Aguliar battles Thanh Le.
Texan, Kevin Aguilar is on a 5 fight win streak. The Angel of Death won the inaugural LFA 145 title at LFA 4 knocking out Damon Jackson. Aguilar has been sidelined since defending the title against Justin Rader at LFA 18. Louisianan’s, Thanh Le was a member of the TUF 22 cast, knocking out Andres Quintana to get on the show and was then submitted by Martin Svensson in the quarterfinals. The 31 year has rebounded knocking who’s last 4 opponents, including knocking out Bobby Moffett to win the interim title at LFA 31.
The co-main event will see UFC vet and former Legacy FC Champion Damon “The Leech” Jackson facing off with Bellato vet Jeremy “Spooner” Spoon. Since losing to Kevin Aguilar at LFA 4, Damon Jackson has submitted Eliazar Rodriguez, Luis Luna, and Chris Pecero, all in the 1st round. Spoon has won 9 of his last 10 and 5 in a row, coming off a January knock out of Clay Wimer.
The main car will also see at Featherweight the always entertaining Levi Mowles takes on Rey “The Ghost” Trujillo, at Welterweight undefeated Ramiz Brahimaj meets Evan “The Butcher” Curt’s & in the women’s Flyweight division a battle of pro debut-ers as “All Hail” Hailey Cowan tangles with Victoria Leonardo.
