Holm vs Anderson added to UFC 225
Former UFC Champion Holly Holm will welcome former Invicta FC Champion Megan Anderson to the octagon at UFC 225.
Holm (11-4) a former multiple time boxing world champion, is coming off a UFC 219 unanimous decision loss to Cris Cyborg. “The Preacher’s Daughter” has always trained under Mike Winklejohn and now at the JacksonWink Academy. Holm has racked up 7 finishes in the cage all knock outs, while displaying great kicks and a deep gas tank.
Anderson (7-2) from Australia, now residing in Missouri, and training under James’s krause and Glory MMA. Anderson hasn’t fought since knocking out Charmaine Tweet in January or 2017, winning the Invicta FC Featherweight title. There was a point when Anderson was scheduled to make her promotional debut against Cris Cyborg at UFC 214, but for personal reasons withdrew from the contest.
UFC 225 is June 9 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
