Fight Nights Global debuts in China with East vs. Kudin

Fight Nights Global has announced their inaugural trip for China will be headlined by a Heavyweight collision between UFC vet, Cody “The Freight Train” East (13-3) &

Alexi Kudin (23-11-1).

East went on a 9 fight win streak but earn a contract in the UFC but then went 0-2,with TKO losses to Curtis Blaydes and Walt Harris. Since parting ways with the UFC , “The Freight Train” has won a Kickboxing match under the Sparta Combat League banner and got back in the cage defeating Tony Lopez by decision at JacksonWink Fight Night 2. The former King of the Cage and Legacy FC Heavyweight champion, who also has professional boxing experience, has racked up 9 of his 11 finishes by knock out.

Kudin a Bellator and M-1 vet has already fought 3 times for Global Fight Nights, going 1-2, the win a split decision over Derrick Mehmen. The 33 year old, Belorussian, has 17 of 18 finishes by knock out. Kudin looks to rebound from a November submission loss to UFC vet Viktor Pesta.
