LFA 46 Headlined by Nakashima defending 170 Title against Stewart

Undefeated fighters face off with the Welterweight title on in the line in the main event of LFA 46, as Kyle Stewart challenges James Nakashima.

Nakashima a former NCAA Division I wrestling champion, heads into his first title defense, coming off winning the title by split decision over Derrick Krantz at LFA 23. The knock on Nakashima is that all of his pro wins have come by decision.

Stewart proudly served the USA as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. Stewart is 2-0 in LFA, having submitted Ty Freeman and taking a decision from Jaleel Willis. The Arizona Combat Sports product is coming off of submitting Chauncey Foxworth in May.

In the co-main event at Featherweight Alexandre “Popo” Bezerra a BJJ Belt Black and Bellator vet takes on Mike “Popezilla” Pope a submission savvy former CFFC champion.

Ahmet Kayretli made his promotional debut at LFA 39 putting on a devastating striking display in stopping Turell Galloway. The Turkish fight will next tangle with Shogun Fights vet Shaun Spath. Also in the Middleweight division Dashawn Boatwright looks to quickly rebound from his loss to Alonzo Menifield when he faces fellow finisher Matt Semelsberger.

LFA 46 is set ofr July 27 at the Felker field Hangar at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Newport News, Virgina.
