Former champion vs undefeated rising star set as main event Bellator in Boise.
Former champion Pat Curran looks to hand undefeated AJ Mckee (11-0) his first loss in the main event of 205. Curran has won 3 straight taking decision wins over Emmanuel Sanchez, Georgi Karahanyan, & John Teixeira. The 30 year old has 12 finishes, 7 by submission. Mckee 23, has 7 finishes, 4 knock outs, and is coming off a Bellator 197 decision win over Justin Lawrence.
Bellator 205 is September 21 at the Centurylink Arena. The co-main event will see Rafael Lovato Jr. against John Salter. The bout was originally scheduled for Bellator 198, but a late injury to Salter, saw Gerald Harris step up as short notice replacement. Lovato Jr. would submit Harris with a armbar in round 1. Lovato Jr. vs. Salter is most likely a number 1 contender bout in the middleweight division.
