Esquibel vs. Villanueva Headlines Legacy Boxing Promotions Aztec Warfare 2
Stepping up to the top slot Matthew “Papitas” Esquibel will meet Willie Villanueva in the main event of Aztec Warfare 2. After a 4 year layoff Esquibel returned to action with the 2017 knock out of the year against Christopher Russell. At Route to Glory 2, Bad Blood, “Papitas” battled Tavorus Teague to a draw. Villanueva returns to action for the first time in nearly 6 years, but has stayed active in sparring. Villanueva started his pro run 9-0, his last win came by split decision over David Proa.
Legacy Boxing Promotions returns to the Hispanic Cultural Center for Aztec Warfare 2 on Saturday October 20.
