3 New UFC 228 additions including Sanchez vs. White

The card for the UFC’s trip to Dallas in September continues to grow with a trio of fight recently becoming official. Most intriguing is a Welterweight contest between TUF 1 alum, Diego “The Nightmare” Sanchez & Craig “the Thundercat” White.

The TUF 1 winner & former title challenger looks to rebound from back to back knock out losses to Al Iaquinta & Matt Brown. Sanchez has a 56% finishing rate with 15 finishes, in 27 victories, 8 by knock lout. The 36 year old, New Mexican, heads into his 28th fight in the octagon.

On Short notice White made his promotional debut stepping up to take on top ten ranked Neil Magny, at UFC Fight Night 130, in Liverpool, England. Magny would walk away victorious, with a first round knock out, ending a 4 fight win streak. The 28 year old, has 100% finishing rate 9 submissions and 5 knockouts.

UFC 228 is September 8 at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas, featuring Nicco Montano defending the UFC Women’s Flyweight title against Valentina Schevchenko.

Also at Welterweight Niko “The Hybrid” Price (12-1), who’s won 2 straight, coming off a knock out of Randy Brown, squares off with Abdul Razak Alhassan (9-1) , who’s scored back to back first round knock out wins over Sabah Homasi.

At Flyweight Legacy FC vets battle as Ryan Benoit (10-5) tangles with Roberto Sanchez (8-1). Benoit comes in off a head kick knock out of Ashkan Mokhtarian, while Roberto his last time out submitted Joby Sncez.
