The biggest test of Aaron Pico’s young MMA career will come September 29 when he takes on former RFA & LFA champion Leandro Higo.
The event will be Bellator 206, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Pico (3-1) has rebounded from being submitted by Zach Freeman in his pro debut with 3 consecutive first round knockouts of Justin Linn, Shane Kruchten, and Lee Morrison.
Higo (18-4) signed with Bellator on the strength of an 8 fight win streak. The Pitbull Brother’s trained fighter has gone 2-1 since losing a split decision to Eduardo Dantas and being submitted by Darrion Caldwell; while on getting his hand raised by unanimous decision at Bellator 184, defeating Joe Taimanglo.
