The highly anticipated octagon return of cult hero, Polarizing figure Nate Diaz, has been announced for UFC 230 and will come against top contender Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier.
Diaz 33, from Stockton, California, is a member of the Scrap Pack and Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Diaz hasn’t fought since a majority decision loss to Conor McGregor in August of 2016. Poirier has been on a tear in his last 3 fights finishing Anthony Pettis, Justin Gaethje, and Eddie Alvarez. The 29 year old, Louisiana native, trains at American Top Team in Florida.
UFC 230 is November 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
