A possible number contenders bout has been added to the same card that will crown a new champion in the UFC’s 125 lbs. Women’s division.
In what we can assume is a backup plan if some falls out of the title fight, number 3 ranked Katlyn “Blonde Fighter” Chookgian (11-1) will square off with number 9 ranked Jessica “Evil” Eye (13-6).
Chookgian is 2-0 in the octagon at 125, currently on a 3 fight win streak, all by decision. The 29 year old, New Jersey native is coming off a UFC on Fox 30 win over Alexis Davis. Eye a 32 year old from Ohio, has won back to back decisions over Kalindra Faria & Jessica Rose-Clark.
UFC 231 is set for December 7 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, headlined by Brian Ortega challenging Max Holloway for the UFC Featherweight championship.
