A Featherweight meeting between Chad “Money” Mendes & Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski has made it’s way on the UFC’s year end card.
UFC 232 is set for December 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las, Vegas Nevada, and is headlined by 2nd Light Heavyweight title bout between Jon Jones & Alexander Gustafsson.
Mendes (18-4) returned to action in July after a 2 year suspension for a USADA violation, scoring a 1st round TKO of Myles Jury. With the win the 33 year old, 2-time title challenger picked up his 8th career knock out. Volkanovski has won 15 straight and is 5-0 in the UFC coming off a decision win over Darren Elkins, a teammate of Mendes’s at Team Alpha Male. “The Great” an Australian with 13 finishes 10 by knock out.
