UFC 213 taking place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a thirteen-bout card, featuring two world title matches.
The main event had Brian “T-City” Ortega challenging Max “Blessed” Holloway for the UFC Featherweight title. Oretga is unbeaten at 14-0, 6-0 in the UFC, all finishes. Ortega was last in the octagon at UFC 222, stopping Frankie Edgar with strikes. Holloway is on a 11-fight win streak which includes stopping Anthony Pettis to become interim champion and stopping Jose Aldo twice to unify the titles and earn his first successful defense.
In the co-main event Valentina Shevchenko battles Joanna Jedrzejczyk for UFC Women’s Flyweight championship. The two are no strangers, Shevchenko holds 3 wins over Jedrzejczyk in Muay Thia matches. Jedrzejczyk will be competing for the first time in the UFC at 125 lbs. The former Strawweight champion is coming off a July decision win over Tecia Torrs. Shevchenko a former title challenger up at Bantamweight is 1-0 at Flyweight, coming off a February submission of Priscila Cachoeira.
