Saturday, January 26, Golden Eagle Promotions has a big night of Boxing in store for Amarillo, Texas. Amarillo Ambush Battle is headlined by Amarillo’s own, unbeaten Abel Navarette vs. Corpus Christi’s, David Waters.
Navarette returned to the ring after nearly 2-years away in November, stopping Ernesto Hernandez in the first round. More then a handful of men declined facing Navarette before Waters signed the contract.
The co-main event is also a all Texas tussle as Amarillo’s Ben Vasquez faces Abilene’s Tyler Pacheco. Vasquez has 100% knockout rate, while Pacheco has had his hand raised by decision. Additionally, unbeaten school of hard knocks champion Desmond Hill from Odessa, TX, takes on Rio Rancho, NM, “Irish” Bryant McClain. Hill is coming off a 4th round TKO by doctor stoppage win over Rico Urquizo. McClain loves a inside battle and has 75% of his wins by decision.
