The UFC’s first event on ESPN will take place in Philadelphia and has a pair of women’s bouts official for the card.
Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson (16-6) will take on former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz (12-3). Waterson. Has won consecutive decisions over Cortney Casey & Felipe Herrig. Kowalkiewicz looks to rebound from having a 2 fight win streak halted by a September knock out loss to Jessica Andrade.
Also at Strawweight Mexico’s Alexa Grasso (10-2) will square off with Brazil’s Marina Rodriguez(10-0-1). Grasso 25, a product of Lobo MMA is coming off a submission loss to Tatiana Suarez. Rodriguez will make her official octagon debut coming off stopping Maria Oliveria on Dana White’s Contender Series earning her UFC contract.
UFC on ESPN 2 is scheduled for March 30 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
