Woodley Defends & Garbrandt Returns at UFC 235

The UFC has added a pair of very intriguing additions to March’s UFC 235, including a welterweight title bout in the co-main event.
Tyron “The chosen” Woodley (19-3-1) will defend his 170 lbs. belt against Kamaru “The Nigerian Nightmare” Usman (14-1). Woodley has won 7 straight with 4 successful title defenses and is coming off submitting Darren Till by D’Arce Choke at UFC 228. Usman is on a 13-fight win streak and has 7 of his 9 victories in the octagon by decision.

The card has also gained a top 10 bantamweight match-up between former champion Cody “No Love” Garbrandt (11-2) & Pedro “The Young Punisher” Munhoz (17-3). This will be Grabandt’s first fighting since suffering a second consecutive knock out loss to TJ Dillashaw. Munhoz is a former RFA 135 lbs. champion, who’s won 6 of his 7 fights. In his last two “The Young Punisher” has scored consecutive wins, a decision over Brett Johns & a knockout of Bryan Caraway.

UFC 235 is set for March 2, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
