The UFC Bantamweight title is vacant, but the promotion doesn’t’ plan on that being the case for long.
The UFC has announced Flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo will face former WSOF Bantamweight champion, Marlon Moraes for the vacant belt in the main event of UFC 238.
TJ Dillashaw was recently relinquished the UFC Bantamweight title after a failed drug test associated with UFC on ESPN+ 1, where Cejudo stopped Dillashaw in 32 seconds, to make his first successful title defense.
The win was Cejudo’s forth in a row and 6th knock out victory. Moraes has four wins in five trips into the octagon. The man known as “Magic” is coming off submitting Raphael Assuncao, at UFC Fight Night 144, avenging a split decision loss from UFC 212. Moraes has also added to his highlight reel during his time with the UFC knocking out Aljamain Sterling with a knee & Jimmie Rivera by head kick.
