The Ultimate Fighting Championship is in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for UFC on ESPN 2, at the Well Fargo Center.
The main event is a clash between top ten ranked Lightweights, number 6 Edson Barboza vs. number 8 Just “The Highlight” Gaethje. Gaethje the former WSOF Lightweight champion, is two win and twi losses in four trips into the octagon. All four including his August win over James Vick, have ended by knock out. The Arizona native training in Colorado has sixteen of seventeen finishes by knock out. Barboza has amassed a fourteen and six record in twenty trips inside the octagon. The Brazilian is the only person in UFC history to have two TKO victories from leg kicks. Barboza comes in off a December, knock out of Dan Hooker.
The co-main event is in the middleweight division as number 11 ranked, former two-division WSOF champion, David Branch faces Jack “The Joker” Hermansson, who’s won four of his last five fights.
