New Mexico, Combat Sports Promoter Lenny Fresquez will be hosting JW Fight Night 5, May 10th, in celebration of the 25th Anniversary for Fresquez Productions.The event will take place at the Isleta Resorts & Casino Showroom, as have the other four JW Fight Night events.
The main event will have Bellator vet, Steve “Mean Machine” Garcia (8-3) squaring off with Andrew “The Beast” Whitney (16-6), who’s fighting out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Garcia, who fights out of JacksonWink MMA, started his career with six consecutive wins, five by knockout. The 26-year-old, known has the “Mean Machine”, comes in off winning a decision over Able Cullum, in the main event of JW Fight Night 4, this past November; where Garcia took Cullum to the ground opened his foe with elbows and painted everything blood red. Whitney is vet of Titan FC & 864 FC, who has a seventy-five percent finishing rate, twelve of his sixteen win are finishes, seven knockout, & five submissions. The thirty-four-year-old, known as “The Beast” has won consecutive fights knocking Keith Richardson, last January, and submitting Dylan Cala with a guillotine choke, this past July.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2nd, Fresquez Productions will be hosting at 2pm MT at Triple Sevens inside the Isleta Resort & Casino. Participants in JW Fight Night 5 are expected to be on hand, as well as Holly Holm. Fresquez Productions has also teased that there will also be news on an upcoming return to Boxing, where they started.
