Quartet of Fights Official for Bellator’s June Event in London

After a back injury forced the champion to with draw from their scheduled meeting in January, Rafael Lovato Jr. will challenge Gegard Mousasi for the Bellator Middleweight Title in June.

June 22nd, Bellator MMA will be at the SSE Arena in London, England.

Mousasi (45-6-2) is on an 8-fight win streak and is a perfect 3-0 in Bellator MMA. The former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion will be looking for his 2nd successful defense of the Bellator 185 lbs. belt. Unbeaten in MMA, Lovato Jr. is a high level BJJ Black Belt, with eight of his nine victories by submission. The former Legacy FC Middleweight champion is 5-0 in the Bellator cage.

The co-main is at Featherweight pitting James Gallagher vs. Jeremiah Labiano. Gallagher rebounded from his first career loss by submitting Steven Graham at Bellator 217, for his 7th career submission victory. Lobiano has won three of his last four fights, coming off a TKO of Justin Smitley, at Bellator 206.

In a welterweight contest English slugger Paul Dailey will square off with explosive Brazilian, and fellow UFC vet Erick Silva. And at Lightweight, Scotland’s Chris Bungard meets Englishmen Charlie Leary.
