LFA 69 has a new main event. The promotion has announced Flyweight champion Maikel Perez will defend his title against Brandon Moreno.
The main event was change comes following Jacob Rosales accepting an offer from Dana White’s Contender Series.
June 7 LFA 69 take place at the Morongo Outdoor Pavilion in Cabazon, California.
Perez who’s been sidelined by injury, returns to action over a year after winning the Flyweight title, by 2nd round TKO of Sid Bice at LFA 37. The 35-year-old wrestled for his native Cuba in the Olympics and is currently on a 4-fight win streak.
Moreno who hails from Tijuana, Mexico is a 5-fight vet of the UFC who competed on TUF 24. Nicknamed “The Assassin Baby”, the 25-year-old has 11 finishes, 10 by submission.
