The winner of the first ever LFA main event in Wisconsin will earn a gold opportunity against Daniel James.
The inaugural Legacy Fighting Alliance event in the Badger state will take place at the Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin, on June 28th.
In the nights marquee bout American Brett “Bigg Dog” Martin (7-1) & Brazilian Renan ”Problema” Ferreira (5-1) collide with a spot in the next LFA Heavyweight title bout on the line. Martin hails from Hesperia, Michigan, and has won 3 in a row over the last 5-months. The streak includes submitting TUF 28’s Josh Parisian by kimura in just over a minute. Ferreira is a Rio de Janeiro native, who’s has 3 straight knock out victories. For the 6’10” Team Nogueira member it’s been a rough go finding fights, this will be the first time in his 6-year career he’ll have 2-fights in one calendar year.
Daniel James became the first Heavyweight tournament finalist by busting open Patrick Martin with brutal ground & pound in the first round of their LFA 67 main event.
