Fightbot Given Chance for a UFC Contract
During week five of Dana White’s Contender Series is was announced that the week seven main event will feature Clovis’s Harvey “Fightbot” Park.
The Curry County Sherriff Duty will be taking on unbeaten Venezuelan, Omar Antonio Morales Ferrer.
Park (12-2) trains at Force of One Martial Arts, under Eric Saun, in his hometown of Clovis & also makes the 222-mile drive to train at Jackson’s Acoma with Nick Urso, when he can. Park ran his current win streak to three at LFA 64, when his 7th career knockout victory earned him the LFA Lightweight championship. The finish was Park’s 11th overall & 7th inside the first round.
Morales (7-0) currently resides in South Florida. The 33-year-old has 4 of his 5 finishes by submission, all his stoppage victories have come in the first round. At Bellator 204, his most recent fight Morales picked up a 58 second knockout of Troy Nawrocki.
