Invicta FC 36 quick results

Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, played host to Invicta FC 36. The nights featured contest, Pam “Bam” Sorensen versus Kaitlin “The Striking Viking” Young, for the vacant Invicta FC Featherweight championship.

The belt was vacated by Felicia Spencer when she was called up to the UFC. Spencer defeated Sorenson at Invicta FC 32 to win the 145 lbs. title. Prior to the loss Sorenson has pick up consecutive wins over Helena Kolesnyk by armbar & Jan Finney by decision. Young is on a 3-fight win streak that includes TKO’s over Sarah Patterson & Faith McMah.

  • Flyweight: Victoria Leonardo (6-1) def. Stephanie Geltmacher (4-1) by (29-28 x3) unanimous decision 
  • Atomweight: Alyse Anderson (5-1) def. Katie Saull (3-4) by (30-27, 28-29, 29-28) split decision 
  • Flyweight: Caitlin Sammons (2-0) def. Chantel Coates (1-1) by submission (rear-naked choke) 4:10 R2
  • Bantamweight: Erin Harpe (2-0) def. Auttumn Norton (0-1) by (29-28, 28-29, 29-27) split decision 
  • Bantamweight: Julia Ottolino (1-0) def. Megan Cawley (0-1)  by (30-27 x3) unanimous decision
