The Weigh-in’s for Holmes Boxing “Warriors Collide” took place at the Ramada by the Wyndham. Ten- Pugilists took to the scales looking to make their contracted weights and then size up the opposition. The results, video, & photos are below.
Tomorrow nights event will open up with late addition to the card Alamagordo’s Joel Torres faces Albuquerque brawler Daniel Flores-Garcia. Burque natives Santiago Giron &Jose Viaponda battle as both make their pro debut. Former KOTC champion Donald Sanchez faces Dimmit, Texas’s Isaac Sifuentez. Espanola’s Leanna Martinez looks to get back in the win column when she faces Lorraine Villalobos from the city of Angels. And in the main event former WBC title holder Fidel “The Atrisco Kid” Maldonado Jr. continues his climb back to contention when he faces Juan Santiago from the Mile High City.
The event takes place Saturday night August 17th at the Embassy Suites. Door open at 6:30 & the first bell is scheduled for 7:30.
