Opponents booked for “Angel Baby” & “Diamond Boy”
There are now eight official bouts for Legacy Boxing Promotions “New Era” card.
Unbeaten, Aaron “Angel Baby” Perez has been matched up with, Mexico City’s, Isao Gonzalo Carranz. Perez ran his record to 9-0 back on September 20th, defeating Ricardo Alan Fernandez by decision in Midland, TX; on a showbox undercard. “Angel Baby” is one of New Mexico’s top prospects, who as an amateur competed with USA Boxing in several international tournaments. Carranza has nine of his five victories by knockout, and also has the experience of having fought for WBC and Mexico titles. According to Boxrec the 8-round affair, will be for a vacant ABF Continental Americas Feather Title.
Unbeaten, Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego has drawn, Nogales, Sonoa, Mex, Felipe Rivas. “Diamond Boy”; has eight of his ten wins by knockout. Griego’s most recent win came by decision over Leonardo Torres, at “Night of Champions”. “Diamond Boy” is also a top New Mexico prospect, who has been compared many times to late world champion Johnny Tapia. Rivas comes in with 11 wins by knockout, and having fought for multiple WBC & WBO titles.
“New Era” is set to take place at Tingley Coliseum & streamed on Proview Networks.
