Combate Strikes New North American Broadcast deal

Turns out AXS TV isn’t completely out of the MMA business.

During a special press conference in Los Angeles, Cal it was announced that Anthem Sports & Entertainment, who had recently purchased AXS TV, has struck a deal with Combat Americas.

The deal will see the Fight Network, also owned by Anthem Sports & Entertainment and seen internationally, along with AXS TV broadcast a minimum of 35 Combate Americas live MMA events in 2020 to North America. Not just live action but there will also be “Best of Combate Americas”, and other series showing every aspect of Combate Americas and their roster.

Comabte Americas had previously been on such platforms as on UFC Fight Pass, DAZN, and Telamundo. Keep in mind the promotion is in the process of putting together their first pay per view card, which will be December 7th in Hidalgo, TX. The main event Light Heavyweights, former UFC champion Tito Ortiz (20-12-1) against Pride vet Alberto Rodriguez (9-5).
