The finalized card sits at eight fights for Legacy Boxing Promotions New Era event.
The main event is still intact from the original announcement. Albuquerque’s own WBC title holder, Josh “Pitbull” Torres clashes with Juan Jesus Rivera Garces from Aguascalientes, Mexico. Torres the leader of Team Pitbull is on a six-fight win streak, five wins by knockout. Garces comes in with more than two-thirds of his wins by knockout and the experience of competing in five championship bouts.
The co-main event has Albuquerque’s Jose Luis Sanchez, from Sanchez Boxing, who’s on an eight-fight win streak against El Paso’s Issac Luna, whose 3-0 under the Legacy Promotions banner; having come up to the Duke City and pulled off a trio of upsets. In the nights featured fight unbeaten Aaron “Angel Baby” Perez steps into his first professional title bout, battling Mexico City’s Isao Gonzalo Carranza for the vacant ABF Featherweight Continental Americas Title. Additionally, Abel “Bobo” Navarrete Jr. from Amarillo, TX defends his ABF American West title versus Jose Antonio Martinez from Durango, Mex.
Weigh-ins will be free and open to the public, Friday at the Ramada by Wyndham at 2pm. Doors at Tingley Coliseum open at 5pm with the first bell scheduled for 6pm local time. Proview Networks will be streaming the event fight night on their youtube page.
