UFC Fight Night 164 Results in a Flash

Ibirapuera Gymnasium is Sao Paulo Brazil, hosts the Ultimate Fighting Championship for UFC Fight Night 164. The main event has number 6 ranked contender Jan Blachowicz, from Poland, welcoming former Strikerforce middleweight champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza to the light heavyweight division.

Blachowicz has won five of his last six fights. In July Blachowicz spoiled the light heavyweight debut of Luke Rockhold knocking out the former middleweight champion at UFC 239. Brazil’s “Jacare” is a highly regarded grappler, whose racked up 22 stoppage victories, 14 by submission. We last saw Souza get his hand raised at UFC 230 stopping Chris Weidman with strikes in the third round.

The co-main event has former Pride & UFC champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua facing Scotland’s Paul Craig, who has all his UFC wins by submission.
