Brawl on the Bosque 2 recap

Isleta Resort & Casino played host to Brawl in the Bosque 2. This is a charity exhibition fundraiser event for Ten82.

Ten82 came together in the summer of 2008, and has since donate over $300,000 to public servants in a time of extra financial need.

Brawl on the Bosque 2 is a 10-fight Card. The nights opening bout and main event are scheduled for three two-minute rounds. All other bout will be three one-minute rounds.

In the opening bout, Unite States Air Force rep, Geovany Lorenzo defeated, New Mexico State Policeman, Sean Chavez by unanimous decision.

Albuquerque Police officer, Justin Lee stopped, PNMs’, Caesar Rivas. While, Las Cruces  Firefighter, Cameron Clark picked up the decision win over, MDC guard, Michael Archuleta.

Los Lunas Officer, Ryan Gray stopped, New Mexico State University firefighter, Ethan Klein in the second round; off the strength of some big right hands.

Bernaillo County Sheriff’s officer, Wesley Buster showed off his gold gloves experience defeating, MDC guard, Matt Yguado by unanimous decision.

Torrence County Sheriffs Officer, Patrick Hernandez defeated, Benaillo County Sheriffs officer, Noah Chavez by TKO in the second round. The ref waiving off the contest after a third knockdown.

Bernaillo County Sheriffs officer, Anthony Orozco defeated, Los Lunas Firefighter, Kris Garcia by unanimous decision. Orozco scored a knockdown in the first round and utilized slick counter striking in the third round.

Moving forward for all three rounds, Ricky Dominguez, Bernaillo Firerfighter,  defeated, MDC guard, Adam Jaramillo by unanimous decision. Even busting up Jaramillo’s mouth.

The co-main event saw a rematch form a year ago. Isleta Police Officer, Jared Abeita defeated, Albuquerque firefighter, William Chavez by unanimous decision. The cleaner shots including the right uppercut where landed by Abeita.

Main event, Bernaillo County firefighter, Janessa Ruiz marched down, New Mexico State Police Officer, Erin Streater. Scoring with overhands in route to the split decision victory, in what has to be the fight of the night.
