Vannata-Mederios & Miller-Holtzman added you UFC Fight Night 167
A front runner for fight of night has been added to UFC Fight Night 167.
At lightweight “Groovy” Landon Vannata will face Hawaii’s Yancy Mederios. In eight fights inside the octagon Vannata has earned three fight of the night awards and one performance bonuses. The Jackson’s Acoma fighter has nine of his ten wins by stoppage, including his most recent victory. At his 234 the “Groovy” one submitted Marcos Mariano by kimura. Mederios comes in with 80%, 12 of his 15 wins by stoppage, 66%, of 8 of those 12 by knockout. The 32-year-old has spent last six years competing inside the octagon.
The card has also gained at 155 lbs. Jim Miller versus Scott “Hot Sauce” Holtzman. Miller has won three of his last fours fights. In February the New Jersey native submitted Clay Guida with a guillotine choke. Holtzman has won four of his last five fights. In December “Hot Sauce” scores a TKO win Dong Hyun Ma.
UFC Fight Night 167 takes place at the Santa Ana Star Center on February 15th and is the 25th Fight Night in ESPN+.
