Graves-Magomedov title bout headlines Titan FC 59
The Titan FC welterweight title picture is currently a crowd situation which the promotion plans to clear up at Titan FC 59.
In a welterweight title unification bout, interim champ Kamal Magomedov faces champ Michael Graves. Graves won the interim title at Titan FC 53. Prior to Titan FC 57, Graves was awarded the full title after Uros Jurisic was stripped. The result of withdrawing from the fight and not being able to defend the belt over the last year and a half due to injury. Graves was now set to defend the welterweight strap against Kamal Magomedov. Injury would force Graves to withdraw from the fight. Magomedov would go on to submit Italo Concalves at Titan FC 57 to become the interim welterweight champion.
Titan FC 59 is February 28th at Xtreme Action Park, in Fort Lauderdale; and streams on UFC Fight Pass.
In the co-main event undefeated Max Rohskopf takes on 11-fight vet Paulo Silva. Rohskopf wrestled for North Carolina in college and has secured all his MMA wins by submission. Silva hasn’t fought since last march when he scored a second round knockout of Marin Castro.
