Triple 7’s inside the Isleta Resort & Casino hosted the fight week press conference for Saturday’s March Badness.
For the first time in nearly seven years Fresquez Productions returns to the Boxing world with a six-fight card, headlined by Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego battling Jeronil Borres for the American Boxing Federation continental America’s flyweight title. Borres officially replaced Ronnie Baldonado at the beginning of the week. A move that had been in motion for a few weeks, according to Matthew Griego.
At the press conference we learned that “Native Kid” Clinton Chavez will. be facing Luis Marez, whose making his pro debut. While Mario Gonzalez from Hobbs is now set to face Brad Greick from Gillette, Wyoming, after Adam Ramirez withdrew from the card.
