The card for the UFC’s May 13th event is starting to come together. At this point there’s six-contests slated for the event, which will be the second of three in a week.
All three events will take place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
The main event is expected to see Anthony Smith vs. Glover Texiera. Both have fought for the UFC light-heavyweight title. The fight was originally scheduled to headline the UFC Fight Night event in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 25th.
Another former light-heavyweight title challenger, Ovince St. Preux moves up to heavyweight to battle 49-fight vet “Big” Ben Rothwell. Also, at heavyweight former champion “The Pitbull” Andrei Arlovski welcomes PFL season one heavyweight winner Philipe Lins to the octagon. The fight was originally scheduled for the UFC Fight Night in Oklahoma City on May 2nd.
At bantamweight former flyweight title challenger Ray “The Tazmexican Devil” Borg is gong to square off against Ricky Simon who won his fight three fights in the UFC. In women’s 135 lbs. action TUF 26 finalist Sijara Eubanks meets Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras, whose coming off a TKO win over Liana Jojua
Lastly Karl Roberson versus Marvin Vettori which was also to be on the UFC Fight Night card in Lincoln, Nebraska has been rebooked for May 13th.
