As the UFC looks to get back on track the fight announcements will be rolling out quickly. The first announced bout for the rebooking of the May 2nd Fight Night event has become public.

In a women’s bantamweight bout that’s booked for the third time Julia “Raging Panda” Avila (7-1) will clash with Brazil’s Karol Rosa (12-3). The fight had been set for UFC on ESPN+ 20 back in October, but Rosa was forced to pull out due to injury. The bout was then rescheduled for UFC on ESPN+ 30, which was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Avila is on a three-fight win streak coming off a unanimous decision win over Pannie Kianzad from UFC 239. Rosa has a matching three-fight win streak, the last win coming by decision over Lara Procopio from UFC on ESPN+ 15.

The fight will take place on planet earth, but no other details on location or how to watch have been announced.
