UFC 249 Results- Gaethje overwhelms Ferguson
Major Sports are back and as promised the Ultimate Fighting Championship is first out the gate. UFC 249 taking place at the Vystar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
Two championship events sit atop the card. In the main event former WSOF champion Justin Gaethje faces Tony Ferguson, who’s on a 12-fight win streak, for an interim UFC lightweight title. The co-main event has former champion Dominick Cruz returning from three years away to challenge Henry Cejudo, who defends the UFC bantamweight title for the first time.
The card was scheduled for 12-fight but is down to 11-fights after “Jacare” Souza versus Uriah Hall was canclled; due to Souza testing positive for Covid-19.
