Three Fights Slated for July 25th

The events that will take place on Fight Island are stating to come together and July 25th has a huge contest at middleweight and a trilogy fight at light-heavyweight.

Former Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker is expected to face former welterweight title challenger Darren Till. The Australian had a nine-fight win streak ended when he lost the title to Israel Adesanya at UFC 243. A month later Till won his 185 lbs. debut by split decision over Kelvin Gastelum.

The third meeting has between “Shogun” & “Lil Nog” has been rescheduled from what was to be UFC 250 on May 9th.  Rua has won the prior two meetings by decision at Pride Critical Countdown 2005 & at UFC 190. In November Rua fought Paul Craig to a draw and Nogueira has not fought since being knocked out by Ryan Spann last May.

Former women’s bantamweight title challenger Beth Correia will look to build off a September win over Sijara Eubanks when she tangles with Pannie Kianzad, who beat Jessica-Ros Clark in November.

The July 25th UFC Fight Night card is expected to be fully streamed on ESPN+.

  • Light-Heavyweight Bout: Mauricio Rua (26-11-1) vs. Antonio Nogueira (23-9)
  • Women’s Bantamweight Bout: Bethe Correia (11-4-1) vs. Pannie Kianzad (12-5)
