The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts UFC 250 headlined by two-division champ Amand Nunes defending her UFC Women’s featherweight championship against Felicia Spencer.

Contender Series alumni Gilbert Burns won his fifth in a row, scoring his forth straight by first round finish. Taking care of veteran Evan Dunham by rear naked choke. Devin Clark made it back to back decision wins. The former wrestler embraced the grind to hand Alonzo Menifield is first pro loss. Alex Perez made it three wins in a row, decimating Jussier Formiga with calf kicks to win by first round TKO. Maki Pitolo found his distance in the second round unloading on Charles Byrd against the cage. Pitolo took Byrd to the ground with a trio the following up punches sealing the deal. Heavyweight favorite, Cody Stamann out worked Brian Kelleher for 15 minutes sweeping the judges score cards. Early low kicks from Ian Heinisch leads to a level change setting up the over hand right. Heinisch swarmed and finishes with punches. Just before the horn to end the second round Cody Garbrandt dips and uncorks a right hand that sends Raphael Assuncao into a face plant landing.
Main Event: Amanda Nunes put a stamp on being the greatest female mixed martial artist of all time. A five-round best down of Felicia Spencer. “The Lioness” took Spencer down several all times, busting open Spencer with elbows early. Nunes even found a rear naked choke finish to end the forth round. The damage wasn’t all done on the ground as Nunes disabled Spencer’s left leg with low kicks and created a huge hematoma on Spencer’s forehead from right hands. Nunes is the first multiple division champion in UFC history to defend both titles.
