Austin Hubbard opened the card overwhelming short notice opponent Max Rohskopf, forcing Rohskopf to call for the fight to be over after the second round. The power punching of Lauren Murphy kept Roxanne Modafferi on the retreat. As Murphy picks up the decision win for her third straight victory. On day notice Justin Jaynes defeats Frank Camcho by first round TKO. Landing two lefts on Camcho’s chin and continuing to punch till the ref jumped in. Marc-Andre Barriault been his fight with Oskar Piechota a brawl, forcing Piechota to crumble from onslaught of uppercuts inside the clinch. Tecia Torres showed off her striking arsenal,stuffing Brianna Van Buren’s takedown attempts to win a unanimous decision. Finishing up the prelims Bobby Green striking prevailed over Cay Guida’s attempts to get the fight to the ground for the decision victory.

In his 35th UFC bout Jim Miller caught a Roosevelt Roberts kick. When Roberts tried to reverse position Miller caught an armbar for his 10th UFC win by submission, pulling him into a tie for second with Royce Gracie for most submission wins in UFC history. Belal Muhammad show off his foot work and savvy defeating Lyman Good by decision, even ending the bout on Good’s back hunting for a submission. Raquel Pennington put on a full performance sticking shots from the outside, controlling and scoring in the clinch while stopping Reneau’s attempts for takedowns. After taking 14 low kicks in the first round, Josh Emmett scored two knock downs from right hands to win a unanimous decision over Shane Burgos; including a 10-8 in the third round. Emmett is now on a 3-fight win streak and has won five of his last six fights. The bout goes on the short list of fight of the year candidates. As promised, Curtis Blaydes relied on his wrestling game accumulating 14 takedowns & nearly 20 minutes of control time to defeat Alexander Volkov by unanimous decision. The win extends Blaydes win streak to four in row.
