Chris Brown gets new Opponent for LFA 85

Four days out from LFA 85, Caged Minds has learned that Chris Brown will no longer be facing Salaiman Ahmadyar.

A reason for the withdrawal of Salaiman Ahmadyar was not given.

“Breezy the Future” will now face Ignacio Bahamondes. Bahamondes has won five of his last six fights. The native of Santiago, Chile, has seven finishes all knockouts. The 22-year-old has fought for Island Fights & Titan FC.

Brown has won two of his last three fights by knockout. Including stopping Yemi Oduwole at LFA 71 in July of 2019. 

LFA 85 is July 17th at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Streaming on UFC Fight Pass at 9 p.m. ET. The main event will see Sam Hughes battling Vanessa Demopoulos to become the inaugural women’s strawweight champion.
