Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady joins Mika Frankl to talk about his U.S. debut at LFA 89, where he’ll face Konnor Kuppe. A former Brave CF champion, who has fought his whole career in the middle-east, but has spent the last four years training at Fortis MMA in Dallas. Al-Selwady talks about the advantages of taking this fight on ten days notice and how he tends to make his fights bloody. He also tells he how he feels the audience-less environment impacts the fights. I also get a sense for how hungry Al-Selwady was to get this opportunity, being nine months removed from his last fight. And of course how did he find MMA and how did it go telling the family he wanted to be a fighter.
