UFC Fight Night “Smith vs. Rakic” Weight-ins, Two Competitors Miss their mark
The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada is host to the UFC Fight Night “Smith vs. Rakic” weigh-ins where 22 competitors will step on the scale.
The top ten light-heavyweight main event between Anthony Smith & Aleksandar Rakic has been given the green light, as both came in under the 206 lb. limit.
Not everyone made weight. Hannah Cifers got on the scale at 117.5 lbs., on her first attempt. Cifers weighed in at 117 lbs. her second time on the scale with the use of a towel. Officially coming in 1 lb. heavy. The Hannah Cifers vs. Mallory Martin bout will happen. Cifers has been fined 20% of your purse.
Replacing Kevin Croom, who replaced Giga Chikadze, Austin Springer got on the scale 5 lbs. over the 146 lb. limit for his featherweight bout against Alex Caceres. The fight will proceed as scheduled. Springer has been fined 30% of his purse.
The card is an ESPN+ exclusive, prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET, main card at 9 p.m. ET.
